    Strategic timeline for rolling out our collaborative feedback initiative

    Our Roadmap for Change

    A phased approach to implementation that respects teacher time, builds capacity gradually, and centres student impact at every stage.

    2025-26

    Year One

    Phase 1: Foundation Building (September - October)

    Week 1-2Department meeting: introduce the initiative, share rationale, and discuss vision
    Week 3-4Establish department HARD goals collaboratively
    Week 5-6Individual PEERS goal setting with support
    Week 7-8Practice session: watch sample videos and practise giving feedback

    Phase 2: First Feedback Cycle (November - January)

    Year Two

    2026-27: Expanding Impact

    • Expand peer feedback to include cross-departmental partnerships
    • Introduce student-led feedback sessions
    • Develop a shared resource bank of culturally responsive French materials
    • Present findings at a school-wide professional learning day
    Year Three

    2027-28: Sustainable Excellence

    • Establish the feedback cycle as a sustainable, self-running department practice
    • Mentor other departments in implementing collaborative feedback
    • Publish findings or present at educational conferences
    • Integrate student voice data into school-wide improvement planning

    This plan is ambitious but achievable. We will adjust timelines as needed, honour the pace of genuine growth, and keep student voice at the centre of every decision. The goal is not perfection but continuous, meaningful improvement.
